Ventilator Care

Under the guidance of Respiratory Care Partners (RCP) and our Pulmonary Medical Director Dr. Manuel Bautista, M.D., Shepherd of the Valley offers 24/7 comprehensive respiratory care for adults 18 & over in our Liberty community. Our ventilator care is about improving the quality of life for everyone, which is why our ventilators are three times quieter and 70% lighter than traditional ventilator, oxygen, cough, suction and nebulizer devices, making it easier to travel.

Although my stay here was longer than anticipated, I am very grateful to the staff for helping me regain the strength to go home. When I was admitted, I was on a ventilator, feeding tube, and unable to speak. The respiratory therapists, floor nurses, and occupational therapists all showed so much compassion and teamwork throughout this process.
